You can take concrete action to help accelerate cures for kids.
How? Organize a fundraiser!
Build on your interests and tailor the organization and logistics of your activity to the time you have available. Every action counts… and so does every fundraising campaign.
Here are some ideas:
- Organize a fundraising dinner, a local race, or a wash-a-thon
- Donate the profit from sales of a chosen product
- Recruit partners to raise funds for a sport or leisure activity
- Become a volunteer
Support the children!
Many companies, entrepreneurs and individuals are taking up the cause of children’s health and well-being through collections, events, percentages of their sales or otherwise…
Here are just a few…
Somodif Textile Recycling Canada Inc.
We have been working with Somodif Textile Recycling Canada Inc. since 2021. The partnership involves a clothing recycling program that lets people donate used clothing at one of our drop-off bins. The company then collects the items and donates a percentage of the profits to pediatric research. Since its inception, Somodif Textile Recycling Canada Inc. has donated $434,900 to the Foundation!
Since 2019, Kiehl’s skincare and beauty brand has faithfully reaffirmed its commitment to the Foundation with a fundraising campaign in support of the Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Network. During December 2021 and January 2022, for every Kiehl’s Creme de Corps body lotion sold, $10 was donated to the Foundation to help drive pediatric cardiology research in Canada. In addition, a substantial donation was made from the proceeds of the brand’s vintage motorcycle auction. Since its creation, Kiehl’s has donated $67,550 to the Foundation!
