2022-2023 Research Projects

The pandemic and the resulting lockdowns and upheaval have had a serious impact on the mental health of children and youth.

The after-effects of this unprecedented event are countless, and include anxiety, isolation, depression, eating disorders and adjustment problems.

With its 2022 campaign, Child and Youth Mental Health Research, the Pediatric Research Foundation was able to support four key prevention research projects at the four major pediatric research centres in Quebec.

Horyzons-Canada: An online social therapy platform to support the mental health and well-being of youth accessing outpatient services in Quebec.

Assessment of cannabis use among Canadian adolescents after legalization.

Protocole SécUrgencePed: Adaptation and validation of an assessment and support protocol for young people at risk of suicide who present to pediatric emergency departments in Quebec.

Fathers mental health and that of their children: a longitudinal study beginning in the prenatal period.

2021-2022 Research Projects
