Wholly invested in children’s health

Since it was founded, the Pediatric Research Foundation has raised tens of millions of dollars, thanks in large part to the kind-hearted people who have rallied around and continue to support the cause of sick children.

We are proud and grateful to present three of these individuals, whose stories tell the tale of their exemplary commitment to our community.

Laurent Berniard, auctioneer with a big heart

Since 2007, Laurent has been hosting auctions to raise funds for the Foundation. Knowing that children are suffering is intolerable to me. It’s one of the reasons I’m involved with the Foundation

Jennifer St-Laurent: determined optimist

“Volunteering is always easy when it comes from the heart,” says Jennifer, who has been involved in organizing fundraisers for the Foundation since 2010. “I also get to see every day just how much the funds raised help our researchers to move forward.”

Ghislain Leblanc: million-dollar man

A native of the Gaspé Peninsula, Ghislain Leblanc has been a tireless advocate for the cause of sick children, holding numerous fundraising events for more than three decades. Appointed Honorary Governor of the Foundation, he has raised more than $1 million for the cause.
