On May 12, 2025, lovers of fine wines will gather at the William Gray Hotel for the 19th edition of the Montreal Wine Auction. More than a charity event, it’s a gathering of connoisseurs and collectors united by a single cause: to transform every bottle shared into hope for the little ones. The funds raised will be invested in pediatric research, bringing us one step closer to our ultimate goal: to cure every last sick child. This year, the event can count on the support of The Wine Square, an exceptional sponsor. A Quebec-based company specializing in the art of wine conservation, The Wine Square brings much more than its expertise to the table: it demonstrates that an alliance based on shared values, reciprocity and generosity can have a real impact on the lives of the children we support.
Expertise born from passion
The Wine Square has been designing high-end wine cellars combining technological performance and refined aesthetics since 2015. The company was born of the conviction that wine conservation should leave nothing to chance. Each bottle deserves a space worthy of its complexity, its history, its promise. It is with this in mind that The Wine Square redefines the standards of wine preservation, combining an artisanal approach with unique technological mastery. This same attention to detail, this constant quest for excellence, is now at the service of our Foundation.
Thanks to significant investment in research and development, The Wine Square has developed advanced technologies to reproduce the ideal aging conditions found in the historic cellars of European châteaux. Their innovations include advanced air-conditioning systems for wine conservation, and high-performance partitions combining optimal insulation and specialized cellar glass – the fruit of architectural know-how developed in partnership with Corflex.

A prestigious lot for a brighter future
For the 2025 edition of the Montreal Wine Auction, The Wine Square’s involvement stands out for the richness of the lot offered at the live auction. A custom wine cellar worth over $30,000, capable of holding several hundred bottles, the proceeds from which will help fund vital research projects for children. An exceptional contribution that testifies not only to their generosity, but also to their sincere desire to take concrete action in support of pediatric research.
Beyond being a sponsor, The Wine Square embodies the very spirit of the event. That of a modern, passionate wine world, deeply aware of its impact. Their commitment to excellence, knowledge transfer and sustainability makes them an obvious and inspiring ally.
An alliance with heart and meaning
The Wine Square’s involvement goes far beyond one-off support for the Encan. It is with immense pride – and a generosity that compels admiration – that The Wine Square has chosen to donate one of its top-of-the-range cellars to the Pediatric Research Foundation. A cellar is a showcase of patience, a place where time reveals the richness of a great wine. It’s also a powerful metaphor: for research, too, demands time, rigor and passion. Day after day, it builds hope for a brighter future for children. A future where health becomes a right, not a privilege.
This donation is much more than a precious object. It’s a way of saying loud and clear that medical progress, innovation and the well-being of children concern us all. Supporting research means choosing to build a more humane, supportive and beautiful society.
Thank you, The Wine Square
On behalf of the entire Foundation team, the researchers, the children and families we support every day: thank you. Thank you for your audacity, for your sensitivity, for your inspiring generosity. Together, we are proving that a bond founded on shared values can give rise to much more than projects: it can change lives.
